LUTHERAN WITNESS SUBSCRIPTION. If you are not receiving “The Lutheran Witness”, the official magazine of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod, and would like to, please let Pastor Slater know so he can get you on the subscription list. If you are currently receiving “The Lutheran Witness” and no longer wish to, or if you need to make an address change, please also let Pastor know.
STEWARDSHIP THOUGHT. “So then, brothers, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh” (Romans 8:12). We owe the flesh, the world and the devil nothing at all. We are not debtors to these enemies; we are freed by the blood of Christ. We are joyful servants in Christ’s kingdom — servants that He calls friends. We share our Lord’s plans and purposes, and this gives direction and purpose to our lives.
LIFE QUOTE.“Realistically, most of us will never be more than ordinary, but that doesn’t mean we’re useless. God works through the ordinary, the mundane, and the commonplace. He worked through Esther, and He works through you to bless others in ways you may never know.” Grace MacPherson. A Life Quote from Lutherans For Life.

LIVESTREAM HELP- We are needing to train a third person on live streaming for Sunday Adult Bible Study and Worship service time. Please contact Brent for details. This would involve setting up the iPad, logging onto Facebook and our church website, copying and pasting some links, maybe adjusting some volumes during the worship service periodically. We would also show you how to set up the video camera and amplifier for use with the Fellowship Hall TV / Sound System.
PRIVATE CONFESSION & ABSOLUTION- Pastor Slater will be available in his office, for any individuals who would like to have private Confession and Absolution in preparation for receiving Holy Communion, from 9:00am to Noon, each Saturday prior to the Sundays in which the Lord’s Supper will be celebrated. This is of course voluntary and not required for receiving Communion. Just an opportunity to further prepare your heart and mind for anyone who might so desire. Any questions, please let Pastor know.
