SUNDAY SCHOOL. During the Sunday School hour (9:30-10:15 am) the adult class is studying the Augsburg Confession. The children and youth classes meet during the same time.Ā

THURSDAY BIBLE STUDY. Thursdays at 7:00 pm we have been offering a Bible study on some of the ā€œ3:16ā€ verses of Holy Scripture. This study will also be broadcast over ā€œFacebook Liveā€ on the church’s public Facebook page (the ā€œImmanuel Lutheranā€ page).Ā Ā

WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY continues this Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm and then will also meet on Mondays, February 16th and 23rd. The focus of this study is on forgiveness. Questions? Contact Julie Vogts or Caley Moddelmog.Ā

*MEN’S BIBLE STUDY* Beginning February 14th and continuing the second Saturday of each month from 7:30 am to approximately 8:30 am, all men of the congregation along with any men of the community are invited to join together for a Bible study. The first gathering will be at the church (NOT at the Hub but hopefully so in the future). The topic of this first study will be a LHM Men’s Network study on being a Christian man.Ā

PRAYER PARTNERS/MENTORS. The Board of Education needs six individuals willing to serve as Prayer Partners/Mentors for our middle school catechism students. If you are willing to so serve, please let a member of the Board of Ed know: Hannah Jones, Caley Moddelmog, or Olivia Kurkowski.Ā

VALENTINE’S DINNER. The Youth Group is hosting the annual Valentine’s Dinner next Sunday, February 15th at 6:00 pm. Tickets are $40 for a couple or $25 for a single ticket. Reservations can be made through either Jill Kruse or one of our youth.Ā

ASH WEDNESDAY and the beginning of Lent is February 18th. Wednesday evening Services will be starting again at that time (7:00 pm).Ā

OUR ASH WEDNESDAY OFFERING this year will be going to support the work of the Kansas District in giving grants for future church worker recruitment visits to Concordia University System (CUS) schools and seminaries and helping active church workers to repay their student loans. This is a District-wide offering and any help you are able to give toward this offering, greatly benefits both our future and current church workers.Ā

LENTEN MIDWEEK MEALS. The sign-up sheet for groups to host the five Lenten midweek meals for the congregation can be found on the bulletin board in the narthex. The dates needing to be filled are Feb. 25th and Mar. 4th and 18th.Ā Ā

ALTAR GUILD. If anyone would like to serve on Immanuel’s Altar Guild, please contact Dixie Sebits as she will soon be making the April 2026 – March 2027 schedule. This involves serving for one or two months out of the year. Thanks to those who are able to help!Ā

THE FEBRUARY CALENDAR and NOTES can be found in the narthex.Ā

PRIVATE CONFESSION & ABSOLUTION will be offered by Pastor Slater this coming Saturday from 10:00 am to noon for anyone who so desires.Ā

MISSIONARY PARTNERSHIP. At last week’s Voters’ meeting, we voted to adopt Rev. Michael and Shanna Hageman as our Together-In-Mission partners! The Hageman’s are currently visiting congregations in the states but will soon be moving to Tanzania where Rev. Hageman will serve as a theological educator to Lutheran pastors in Tanzania, East Africa and Shanna will teach English. Please keep the Hageman’s in your prayers and be watching for how to financially support them and our Lord’s mission to Tanzania!Ā

Prayer RequestsĀ

+ For Ashley Jowers, Krista Clites (sister of Jamie Kohl), Lilli Slater (step-mother of Pastor Slater), Marilyn Vogts, Marsha Wilkening (sister-in-law of Roger and Barb), Karri Strack and Maria (sister of Rudy Dimaplas) who face health issues.Ā

+ For those homebound and in care facilities: Richard Andrus, Irma Bullinger, LaVera Vogts and Betty Colburn.Ā

+ For the family of Fred Renken as they mourn.Ā

+ For our brothers and sisters who face persecution for faith in Christ.Ā

+ For missionaries Michael and Shanna Hageman as they prepare to begin work in Tanzania.Ā

+ For those who battle addictions and/or are incarcerated, that they may know the peace and hope that only Jesus can give.

LIVESTREAM HELP - We are needing to train a third person on live streaming for Sunday Adult Bible Study and Worship service time. There are some dates coming up in March, May and June that we will need coverage for. Please contact Brent or Tanner for details. This would involveĀ setting up the iPad, logging onto Facebook and our church website, copying and pasting some links, maybe adjusting some volumes during the worship serviceĀ periodically. We would also show you how to setĀ up the video camera and amplifier for use with the Fellowship Hall TV / Sound System.

PRIVATE CONFESSION & ABSOLUTION - Pastor Slater will be available in his office, for any individuals who would like to have private Confession and Absolution in preparation for receiving Holy Communion, from 9:00am to Noon, each Saturday prior to the Sundays in which the Lord’s Supper will be celebrated. This is of course voluntary and not required for receiving Communion. Just an opportunity to further prepare your heart and mind for anyone who might so desire. Any questions, please let Pastor know.
