MISSIONARY PARTNERSHIP We recently adopted Rev. Michael and Shanna Hageman as our Together-In-Mission partners! The Hageman’s are currently visiting congregations in the states but will soon be moving to Tanzania where Rev. Hageman will serve as a theological educator and Shanna will teach English. Please keep the Hageman’s in your prayers and be watching for how to financially support them and our Lord’s mission to Tanzania!
DEVOTIONAL BOOKLETS for the Lenten season can be found on the stand in the narthex. These devotional booklets are published by Lutheran Hour Ministries under the theme: “Behold Your King!”.
THEOLOGY ON TAP is this evening at Three Rings Brewery in McPherson. Pastor Slater leads this month’s study on the Eighth Commandment.
WEDNESDAY MIDWEEK SERVICES continue this Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm. A soup supper for the whole congregation begins at 6:15 pm and is being sponsored this week by the ladies of the LWML. For the midweek Services this year we are focusing on “The Lord in Prayer”.
PRAYER PARTNERS/MENTORS The Board of Education needs six individuals willing to serve as Prayer Partners/Mentors for our middle school catechism students. If you are willing to so serve, please let a member of the Board of Ed know: Hannah Jones, Caley Moddelmog, or Olivia Kurkowski.
MY DEVOTIONS for March through May can be found in the narthex. These devotionals are great for our grade school and middle school youth in helping them grow in their faith and connecting Jesus to their lives.

PRIVATE CONFESSION & ABSOLUTIONPastor Slater will be available in his office this coming Saturday from 10:00 am to noon for anyone who desires private Confession and Absolution.
THANK YOU“We would like to thank our church family for all the prayers, calls and donations of food. A special thank you to Pastor Slater for all his visits and bringing Communion for the past three years when Fred wasn’t able to come to church. We are so blessed to have a church family like this. We have felt each act of love and kindness.” ~ Joyce, Michael & Renae
SERMONPrinted copies of today’s sermon can be found after the Service on the stand in the narthex. Take one for your own use or to give to someone else!
STEWARDSHIP THOUGHT“Jesus said to him, ‘Again it is written’” (Matt. 4:7). Jesus defeats Satan in our place, not by using His power as God, but by His perfect obedience in His perfect humanity. Jesus defeats Satan not by miracles, but by quoting Scripture and living according to it. This should cause us great joy for two reasons. First, we see Jesus win the victory for us! Second, here Jesus shows us how to stand in that victory: on the Word of God.
Prayer Requests
+ For Ashley Jowers, Krista Clites (sister of Jamie Kohl), Lilli Slater (step-mother of Pastor Slater), Marilyn Vogts, Marsha Wilkening, Karri Strack and Maria (sister of Rudy Dimaplas) who face health issues.
+ For those homebound and in assisted living facilities: Richard Andrus, Irma Bullinger, LaVera Vogts, Lorene Crouse and Betty Colburn.
+ For our brothers and sisters who face persecution for faith in Christ.
+ For missionaries Michael and Shanna Hageman as they prepare to begin work in Tanzania.
+ For those who battle addictions and/or are incarcerated, that they may know the peace and hope that only Jesus can give.
LIVESTREAM HELP- We are needing to train a third person on live streaming for Sunday Adult Bible Study and Worship service time. There are some dates coming up in March, May and June that we will need coverage for. Please contact Brent or Tanner for details. This would involve setting up the iPad, logging onto Facebook and our church website, copying and pasting some links, maybe adjusting some volumes during the worship service periodically. We would also show you how to set up the video camera and amplifier for use with the Fellowship Hall TV / Sound System.
PRIVATE CONFESSION & ABSOLUTION- Pastor Slater will be available in his office, for any individuals who would like to have private Confession and Absolution in preparation for receiving Holy Communion, from 9:00am to Noon, each Saturday prior to the Sundays in which the Lord’s Supper will be celebrated. This is of course voluntary and not required for receiving Communion. Just an opportunity to further prepare your heart and mind for anyone who might so desire. Any questions, please let Pastor know.
