MISSIONARY PARTNERSHIP Our Together-In-Mission partners – Rev. Michael and Shanna Hageman – are now in Tanzania. If you’d like to give to supporting the Hageman’s and the Lord’s mission to Tanzania, “Together-In-Mission” offering envelopes can be found on the shelf in the narthex that you can use in giving your support through the Sunday morning offering. Make checks payable to “Immanuel Lutheran Church” and the church will then forward these offerings to the Office of International Mission each quarter.

MEN’S BIBLE STUDY continues this coming Saturday, July 11th from 7:45-8:45 am at The Hub in Moundridge. All men of the congregation are invited and feel free to bring a friend as we continue the series, “Home Run King”.
STEWARDSHIP THOUGHT“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). Jesus has come to do the work so that we might have rest from burdens and labors we are not capable of bearing. He frees us from sin, death and the demands of the Law. In that peace and rest of Jesus we find a new purpose — His light yoke is not a burden to bear, but a joy!
LIFE QUOTE“The Fourth of July is an ideal time to thank God if you have a good homeland … or in the U.S., a free country. What a blessing! Just like Job or Jonah, this isn’t the case for everyone. And we should continually pray for those whose homelands or countries are ravaged by war, politics, or disease. Praise God for giving us a country where we can worship Him and live our lives in relative freedom and peace.” Katrina Harrmann, Time of Grace. A Life Quote from Lutherans For Life.

LIVESTREAM HELP- We are needing to train a third person on live streaming for Sunday Adult Bible Study and Worship service time. Please contact Brent for details. This would involve setting up the iPad, logging onto Facebook and our church website, copying and pasting some links, maybe adjusting some volumes during the worship service periodically. We would also show you how to set up the video camera and amplifier for use with the Fellowship Hall TV / Sound System.
PRIVATE CONFESSION & ABSOLUTION- Pastor Slater will be available in his office, for any individuals who would like to have private Confession and Absolution in preparation for receiving Holy Communion, from 9:00am to Noon, each Saturday prior to the Sundays in which the Lord’s Supper will be celebrated. This is of course voluntary and not required for receiving Communion. Just an opportunity to further prepare your heart and mind for anyone who might so desire. Any questions, please let Pastor know.
