BIBLE STUDY - During the Sunday School hour (9:30-10:15 am) we are taking a look at various topics related to Scripture and our life in Christ. We’ll be studying a new topic each week so if you have something you’d like to look at, please let Pastor Slater know and we’ll get it on the schedule. We won’t be meeting next Sunday, May 26th, but will resume again on June 2nd. Come join!

- We are currently looking at the book of Acts.

CHILDREN'S SUNDAY SCHOOL will not be meeting during the summer months, but will resume this Fall.

**UPDATE** WINDOW FUND The parsonage windows have been installed and they look great! Thank you to everyone who has donated toward the windows. If you would still like to give for the window fund, you may so designate an offering. Thank you for your help!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KITS - THANK YOU! The ladies of the LWML thank all those who donated Birthday Kits. These will be distributed to the local food banks. So far we have collected 26 kits!

THE WEEKLY MATINS SERVICE will not be held this week due to Pastor’s absence but will continue on Wednesday, May 29th. All who are able to make it are encouraged to come and join in giving praise to the Lord of hosts!

THE ADULT INSTRUCTION CLASS will not be held this week due to Pastor’s absence but will continue on Wednesday, May 29th from 7:00 – 8:15 pm and continuing on Wednesday evenings through the summer. This class is for those desiring to learn more about the Christian faith as well as those who would like a ‘refresher’. All are invited and if you have anyone who you would like Pastor to invite, please let him know.

BABY SHOWER To all ladies of the congregation: We will be hosting a baby shower for Kari Schmidt on Saturday, June 8th, at 10:30 am in the fellowship hall. It is a girl! We are asking you to bring a book instead of a card to build a nice library for the baby. Please let one of the hostesses know if you can attend: Brooke Vogts, Brenda Vogts, Cheryl Boesker, Connie Bullinger, Connie Bunn, Becky Moddelmog, and Diane Otte. WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY Continuing on Monday evenings at 6:30 p.m., the Ladies Bible study is taking a look at a book entitled “Distracted” by Sharla Fritz. All ladies are invited. The book can be ordered on Amazon. Any questions please see Julie Vogts or Caley Moddelmog.

BOARD of MISSIONS COLLECTION For the months of May and June we are collecting diapers (sizes 1-3) for the Moundridge daycare and the Galva daycare. If you would like to help with this collection, you may place your donations in the cart located by the church office. Thanks!

MY DEVOTIONS for June through August can be found in the narthex. These devotionals are great for our grade school and middle school youth in helping them grow in their faith in their Lord and connecting Jesus to their daily lives.

Portals of Prayer the new April -May edition, pocket and large print versions are now on the ledge in the Narthex. 

"SAINTS ALIVE AFTER 55’" annual retreat is scheduled for Monday, July 22nd, at Christ the King Lutheran Church of Salina from 8:30 am – 4:00 pm. Rev. Cliff Winter will be the featured speaker under the theme, “What’s Love Got to Do with It”. Cost is $50.00 per person and the registration form along with more information can be found on the Kansas District’s website at www.kslcms.org or see Pastor Slater.  

Prayer Requests 

+ For Judy Thomas, Janis Boesker, Jeff Biehler, Tracey Aitken, Fred Renken, Richard Andrus, Betty Vogts, Luella Nutter and Mila Staab who face health issues. 

+ For our brothers and sisters scattered around the world who face persecution for their faith in Christ. 

+ For those who battle addictions and/or are incarcerated, that they may know the peace and hope that only Jesus can give.

+ Our civic leaders and law enforcement and military personnel.

+ Peace in the Ukraine and the Middle East.

MOWING SHEET - It’s that time when we have start mowing the church lawn again. If you are able to help mow the church lawn and/or the cemetery, please sign up on the sheet posted by the church office. The dates listed are Saturdays but you can mow a day or two earlier if that works best for you.

POSTAGE STAMP COLLECTION The LWML is no longer collecting stamps for missions as the program has been discontinued. Thank you to those who faithfully supported this mission project in the past. God bless.
