  &nbs= p;            &= nbsp;   In 1917 a Ladies Aid Society was organized and continues to the present time. A Men’s Club was organized in 1938 and affiliated with the Lutheran Laymen’s League in 1939. A young people’s group was organized in 1916. In the 30’s they were referred to as the “Young FolksR= 21;. In 1940 the youth group affiliated with the Walther League, which was the official youth organization of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. The Walt= her League was dropped in 1968. Later the youth organized under the name of Lutheran Youth Fellowship.
